This camp has been a beacon of hope for refugees and underserved communities in East and North East Africa, providing essential skills training and empowerment opportunities. Through our tailored programs, we have equipped individuals with valuable skills in fields like tailoring, Soap Manufacturing, Crafts, Hair Dressing, Bricks and Pavers Making, Baking, Information Technology, English language, and Financial Literacy, enabling them to pursue sustainable livelihoods and unlock their full potential. 💼💡

  Building Hope: Constructing a Daycare at P-World of Design Free Skilling Camp In the heart of Nakivale Refugee Camp lies a beacon of hope and opportunity – the P-World of Design Free Skilling Camp. This innovative initiative, founded by Dr. Phiona Charlene Namanya, is dedicated to empowering refugees through education and skills training, providing a pathway to a brighter future amidst adversity.  One of the unique challenges faced by learners at the Skilling Camp is the lack of childcare facilities. Many of the learners, predominantly women, are mothers with infant babies. Balancing the demands of learning new skills while caring for their little ones presents a significant obstacle to their education and empowerment journey.
